Q1: Is it required to donate to enter the MAB+ Giveaway?

A1: No. Donations help support independent filmmakers, but they are completely optional. You can enter and win by either donating or engaging with the platform by watching and commenting on movies.

Q2: Can I donate to more than one filmmaker?

A2: Yes! You can donate to multiple filmmakers, and your points from all donations will accumulate during the giveaway period to help you qualify for higher ranking tiers.

Q3: How do I qualify for the different ranking tiers?

A3: You can qualify in two ways:

Donation Method:

Accumulate 1,000 points or more (equivalent to $100 donated) = 1st place tier
Accumulate 500 to 999 points ($50-$99 donated) = 2nd place tier
Accumulate 200 to 499 points ($20-$49 donated) = 3rd place tier

Engagement Method:

Watch and comment on 30 movies = 1st place tier
Watch and comment on 20 movies = 2nd place tier
Watch and comment on 10 movies = 3rd place tier

Q4: What are the prizes for the Giveaway?

A4: 1st Place wins 4 VIP Badges to the 5-day Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival (valued at $600), 2nd Place wins a $350 Amazon Gift Card, and 3rd Place wins a $200 Amazon Gift Card.

Q5: How will winners be chosen and notified?

A5: Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries within each ranking tier. MAB+ will notify winners by email or through their MAB+ account. Winners must respond within a specified timeframe or may forfeit their prize.
